Congrats on you first book

I am a student of Mark Terrell's coaching and this week is working on our first product. I have just downloaded the ebook and looking forward to grabbing a cup of coffee and jumping in.

I would like it if you could stop by my blog and check it out and leave a comment.

HI Nikki!

I was just discussing this with another marketer. How often is too often or too little.

My conclusion is, how often does your list want to hear from you? I think that depends on the quality of your content.

I'll be damned if I'm going to bombard my list with daily ad swaps or the latest joint venture launch. I don't open those, why would I expect my list to?

So, while I may seem to neglect my list, I find it preferable to boring them and wasting their time with emails they have no interest in and will not even take the time to open.

The point is to be relevant. What do you think?

Hey Nikki

I have just come for a visit to your site. How are you going?

Yes it's Mark and I am following my students as they post on other peoples blogs. They don't know that I am always checking to see they are getting results. I am passionate about helping them achieve and then they are able to make some money online exactly the same as I am doing. It is not really difficult as long as they are willing to put in the effort.

Keep up the good work.

Regards

Hi Nikki

I thought that I was visiting another site where no one is home but I can see from your reply comments you have a new site. Why don't you do a 301 redirect?

A little about me – My name is Sue McDonald and I am a student of Mark Terrell and I am actually going through the course a second time – by invitation. I love it and know if I do all he says, I will be successful. I am Australian but the US is my second home as I have family there and visit quite often. This is why I started Internet Marketing so I can travel whenever I want and have the money to do what I want.

Well I hope you are doing well and you become very successful. I would love you to come visit my blog and leave a comment.

Kind regards

HiNikki
did you know purple is the colour of one of our higher chakras so maybe there is a message here that you are onto something.
I love the quirkiness of your thinking.
I am currently doing coaching and love looking around and learning from other people's sites.

Hey Nikki:

Think it's been long for you, I've been out for over a year, but I'm back with a new site, e-Book and more.

My two cents worth: How about a logo that says..."Lif'e's a Witch"

Take care,
Denis

Hello everyone!

It's been ages since I posted my last entry, I've been meaning to do one since I got back from my holiday but it just hasn't materialised yet. The main reason for that is that I took a bit of scenic video footage and I want to compile it together to have an overall 'holiday' video. So I need to make that first to then embed it onto my blog. Don't worry, you won't have me rambling on in the video!

Anyway, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth (and I haven't fallen off the broomstick either, though I've had a couple of close calls). Normal random service will resume shortly!

Thanks to you all for leaving comments here, and apologies that it's taken me so long to respond - it is rude of me and I'm sorry.

Moving on...

Abizer, thanks for those links, at the moment I have someone working on the design for me so hopefully I'll be able to unleash that soon - then we won't be able to move for Purple Minxy Witches everywhere! I'm glad you noticed my recurring purple theme everywhere - as you've said, it's all part of establishing myself as a brand (of sorts!) and making myself stand out from other people.

Duane, thanks for the compliments. I didn't do the Internet Selling For Newbies logo though, that was by Omar Martin & Mike Filsaime's team so I can't take any credit!

Sean, it was great to meet you in Bristol, I had such a fun night catching up with everyone (both meeting existing friends and making new ones). I also loved the Pass The Omar game - that was so funny!

For my ebook covers and minisites then I've always used Michael Ottman, but this is different as it's for my logo. So I've got someone working on it at present, and my PMW logo will be uncovered shortly!

Douglas, yes, that's what I wanted - something that shares some of my characteristics but that can become recognisable as still being 'me'. So I thought I'd get myself created in witch form (goes with the whole Purple Minxy Witch thing).

Gert, ah yes, Tommy...ask him about the fishnets and the top hat!! Tommy is one of the most helpful and genuine people that I've found in my online adventures. As for purple and not being the norm - yep, of all the ways to describe me, normal certainly doesn't fit the bill! But as part of that it makes me more memorable to people (though not necessarily for good reasons!).

TGM, Royal Purpleness - I like that! Maybe I should get a crown instead of a witch's hat...anyway, work is progressing on my logo, and have no fear, once she's completed there'll be a big unveiling party!

Andy, see, this is why I'm going for the PMW logo, you all refer to me as the Purple One (or some other purple-related title) and you know that when you come over here, there's going to be rambling, nonsense, and lots of purple! So the branding has begun without me even doing much apart from being myself.

Therein lies the whole point - I'm being myself. Not pretending to be someone else, just being me. People can relate to that.

.......................

Oooh, I've just been brought a cup of tea! What excellent timing.

Thanks everyone for the comments, and I'll be back soon with a new post.

Until then, may your tea always be hot!

Thought it was about time that I dropped in on the Purple one. Trying to catch up on all the blogs from AJ's first coaching course. Its amazing just how some people have come along.
So pleased that you kept your purple theme.

Hi Nikki,

This is an interesting subject. I have asked several people regarding how often I should be e-mailing my list. Some say everyday..and some say every few days and yet others seem to do it less often and still seem to get good responses. I am trying now to give good content and yet occasionally send something that I think will benefit those on my list. I do not want to bombard those on my list so I have not been sending them a note everyday. I find I need to do adswaps occasionally because otherwise the list just dwindles little by little and never grows. I am not sure that I have found the right balance but am working on it. I found your post and the comments from others to be very insightful. Thanks for bringing up this subject. I will re-visit from time to time to see what other great content you have to offer.
