Oh. My. God…. I’ve WON!!

No, not the Euromillions (as I type, there’s someone in the UK with the winning ticket of something like £166million), or the Lotto, or anything boring like that…

…I’ve won something FAR more exciting!

Wait for it…

…drum roll….

…yes, I’m going to keep you in suspense that little bit longer…

….*drinks tea*…..

…..*makes a list*…..

Oh, all right then….

I’ve won a free place on Sally Neill’s coaching prog!

Sally recently released her report Newbies Next Chapter, and as part of it, she offered 3 lucky winners a free place on her brand new coaching.  Now, I really didn’t think I’d win, but I still wanted to comment as Sally had kindly asked me to review her ebook while it was still in draft mode.

So there I was, minding my own, drinking tea as per usual, and I saw that Sally had released this post so I wanted to pop over and congratulate her on her book, as I thought it was a great read – really down-to-earth and realistic, and it made everything seem so achievable.

Who knew that my comment (or rather, comments as I replied to Sally’s reply) would make me a winner?!

But anyway, I’ve just come over from Sally’s blog where she (& her daughter Jade) did a video to announce the winners: and I’m one of them!!

Wow I’m so excited!  I mean, I’ve been running this blog for a couple of years, but it’s been suffering from neglect and could do with some TLC.

On a personal note, I’ve just moved house and have managed to get my laptop to be functional again (long story, but my laptop is about 100 years old), so I’m just getting my life all sorted again… So the fact that I’ve just won this coaching has come at a perfect time for me.

I also know that Sally will be holding me accountable, so I’ll have to get on with things and do as I’m told…how will I cope with that?!  I’m sure my family would be the first to tell you that I don’t like doing as I’m told.  However, I do realise that if I wish to progress and succeed, then I need to learn from someone that’s actually doing it…

So watch this space…things will be changing around here and stepping up to the next level!

Wish me luck!

Nikki / PMW

Hi Nikki, congratulations on your win. I hope that you’ve mopped the tea up now ;)

I also won a spot Nikki so i’m hoping to get to know you during the training.

Best of luck Nikki, I know we’re both going to be busy but as you said above: we’ll be learning from someone that has done it. I’ve been following Sally for some time now and as a result I am starting to see the benefits of doing so (and that’s just on her blog and twitter) so I know her training is going to take us to places we’ve never been before.

    Congratulation Nikki

    Hi Barry,

Yes, the tea has been mopped up, and I’ve got another cup on the go now. Priorities!

Congratulations on also winning a spot in the coaching, I still can’t believe that I’ve won! I’ve been threatening to pick Sally’s brains for a while now, so now I have even more reason to grab all her knowledge.

I look forward to working with you through the lessons that Sally will undoubtedly be teaching us!

    Hi Ian,

I’ve also been following Sally for quite some time – we were in Alex’s coaching together, and I’ve left all manner of rambling random comments on Sally’s blog before – I just didn’t expect one of them to be the one that got me a free coaching place!

Yes, I can imagine it’s going to be an exciting ride going through the coaching, and I’ll be documenting parts of it here on my blog, so remember to pop back and see what’s going on over here.

    Wish me luck!

    Thanks,

In fact, you have given me what I needed to go and complete a contest/blog post that I
have been trying to define. Thanks ;)

I like the fact that you are not afraid to use color on your blog too…;)

I look forward to crossing paths with you in Sally’s coaching.
No doubt I could have used that free acess…;(
but life has another way for me…so, I’ll just go with the flow. ;)

    EnJOY your moment ;)

    Hi Kathy,

That’s very kind of you to say; I know my blog isn’t the most conventional-looking blog (can you tell that I love purple?!) but then I think it all helps to make it more memorable.

I’m glad I could help provide some inspiration to complete your contest / blog post – good luck with that, come back & let me know how you get on.

I’ll be putting various hints & tips on here as I work through Sally’s coaching, so hopefully I’ll be ablle to share some of the lessons that I’m learning as I go along.

    Hi Nikki,

Congratulations on winning Sally’s free coaching.

I am sure you are going to learn sooooo much with this special lady coaching you. With both you and Sally being coach before with Alex, all I can say is what a great team you are going to make.

Looking forward to returning to your site to check out what you are learning. Keep up the good work and congratulations once again.

    Take care.

    Hi Robyn,

Thanks for the congratulations. Yes, if it wasn’t for Alex’s coaching then Sally and I wouldn’t have met, so I’m looking forward to enhancing the learning I got from Alex’s coaching with all the new information that Sally will be sharing as part of her coaching. Have you seen my post from a couple of years ago when I went to Las Vegas with Alex as part of his course? It’s here if you do want to read it.

I’ll be updating my blog a lot more regularly (it has been suffering from a bit of neglect lately) so I’ll be sure to share the lessons that I’m learning.

    Hey PMW..

You already know that tea and 100 yr old lap tops don’t go… But I’m pleased it survived to weather another storm. Mine versus coffee needed the manufacturer’s touch – thank goodness for warranties…

Congrats on winning your coaching spot. What goes around DOES come around, see. You’ve supported plenty of ppl in your time. And with your enthusiasm……….. wooo! Just keep the cups out of range.

Good to see your rejuvenation. Seems a long time since Vegas.

    Keep having fun..

    Hey Anthony,

Yes, I don’t normally share my tea with my laptop! My laptop is very old though, so I know one day it’ll give up & I’ll have to get a replacement.

Thanks, nice to know that my random efforts are noticed – I just carry on doing my thing in my corner, so if what I do benefits people then that’s great.

Oh don’t worry, I certainly plan on having fun, in fact that’s my purpose in life I think!

Just don’t ask her to meet you for coffee. She sucks at that. Or maybe that’s just me ;)

Keep us posted on how you get on which I’m sure will be great.

Ha ha – maybe try offering Sally a pint, or a vodka & coke…that may appeal more than tea or coffee!

I know that the start of the coaching is imminent, and I’m really looking forward to it. I mentioned it to my mum & she said “when on earth are you going to have time for that as well as everything else” so I think I’ll be burning the candle at both ends for a while! I’ll be updating here with my tales anyway so you’ll see how I’m getting on.

You don’t like being told what to do, you never mentioned that before ha ha.

    Congrats on winning!

Yep your poor lil blog has been neglected…

But you have a unique way of writing so it will be nice to breathe some life back into it.

Blogging will be a key part of the coaching.

I think we will work well together and I am sooooo looking forward to it.

Get that Kodak Zi8 ready… your gonna need it lol.

    Sally

ps. David, I will meet you for a coffee/coke, it’s just never been the right time lol.

    Hey Coach Sally!

Haven’t I mentioned that before? Oops! Well, it’s more that I don’t like doing what I’m told if I can’t see any benefit to it, whereas I know with your coaching I’ll be seeing benefits pretty quickly, so I can cope with following instructions for that!

Yeah, I need to look at my Zi8, as I mentioned to you in Cardiff, the films I’ve got so far are really jerky, so I need to play around with the settings. I’ve upgraded the firmware (I think!) so we shall see. Or I’ll just have to sit in one place when I’m filming myself!!

    Catch you soon,

    Hey Dawn,

Yep, you did congratulate me when we met up, so all is well! And no, I’m terrible at doing as I’m told, I think it’s my inner rebel. However, I also don’t like having my arse kicked, so I guess I’m going to have to behave myself to a certain extent!

I was most pleased that I was able to make the call tonight, it was great! I’ve already written a new blog post about the perils of using an ancient laptop (took me forever to get it working!) and the apparent lack of glamour in webinars (seriously, I’ve even added an awful picture of me, go and laugh at it now!).

We’ll be moving onward and upward together….woohoo!
