The Purple Minxy Witch – unveiled before your very eyes!

Hello!

Wow, what a long time since I last wrote a blog post here!  Almost scandalous in fact.

Anyway, I’ve had a couple of blog posts in mind to share with you, so don’t be surprised if this suddenly becomes like the bus analogy here (you know, the “you wait for ages for a bus & then 3 come along at once” one).  Of course, I don’t wait for buses, I either drive or fly on my broomstick.

That rather neatly brings me on to the point of this post.

I have now been immortalised in cartoon form!

Well, a PMW logo / image anyway.

*cue drum roll……*

Here I am!

My new look - the Purple Minxy Witch image / logo

My new look – the Purple Minxy Witch image / logo

The main aim of having her (or should I say Me: version 2.) is that I can now put her on my blog, on other sites of mine, in any books that I write, promotional literature etc.  So when you do see her, she’ll probably be quite small which is why we deliberately kept the image quite simple.  Otherwise there’d be a purple squiggly mess floating around (actually, that could be a very accurate depiction of me!).

What do you think?

Nikki / Purple Minxy Witch (PMW)

If you've enjoyed this post, I'd be grateful if you'd share it with your friends or anyone else that you feel it could help.

    @ Nikki – who says:

    “… a purple squiggly mess…”

    Ha ha. I don’t think so…

When you said you were “unveiling” yourself I got a bit excited. I thought we were going to a page with a “R” ranking. Oh well.

Nice logo. Good to see that witch caricatures shave their armpits too. (I tend to notice these details)

    Allo, allo…

Thanks for the succinct intro to SocialNetworking. That was a good piece of work
and it cleared my mind on a misguided notion I was suffering under. My blog will be
up and running in a week or so, and I now have a more clear idea on what I’m going
to focus upon. The money-making niche is not really my thing. I’m more interested
in what I think of as WellBeing Solutions, concepts that lead people in trouble out
of it… Anyway, the read did in fact help me. For that I am grateful.

I had to laugh when I read The Gazzman’s comment to you about shaved armpits.
I ask you, doesn’t that boy know you’ve got Warlock back-up lurking in the bogs
down there in Aussieland? I mean, while he’s out there on a Walkabout amid the
Billybongs, he’s liable to run into a shade of purple that’s more foreboding than he is
    scary. Gotta love’m though, he doesn’t miss a trick….

I like your blogsite and I’m going to be keeping an eye out here. I know I’m going to
pick up something around here, even if I might not know what to do with it….

TGM 1, where on earth did your armpit comment come from?! I’m English, not European! As for you getting all excited at the prospect of an unveiling….yeah, I can understand that!

TGM 2 yes, everything is extremely purple in the Purple Minxy Witch’s Lair of Temptation…be grateful everything isn’t black, I seem to keep dressing like a goth at the moment! You’d worry about me if I suddenly went all pastel colours & light, happy colours – urgh, not me at all!

Bobby, welcome to the Lair of Temptation. I’m glad you enjoyed the Social Networking books, thanks for your feedback on it. I had to laugh at your comment:

“I know I’m going to pick up something around here, even if I might not know what to do with it….”

You’d be surprised how often that happens!!

David thanks, I’m really pleased with her and so you’ll all be seeing a lot more of her around the place.

    ……………………………..

Thanks for coming over & commenting!

    Hey Sally!

She’s cool isn’t she?! I’ve got quite obsessed over her, I’m even getting her printed on some stationery. You’re right, just as well there aren’t any spiders in sight – the evening is yet young though…

    Catch up with you soon!

@ Nix – well, you KNOW what I’m like. Not much escapes my attention – especially when it comes to important things like [talking to self: shaved armpits] – well… you know.

BTW, I watched “The Girl Who Played With Fire” last week and there was this one scene [actually there were two – but ONE was so risque that even I won’t mention it here!] where Noomi Rapace (the actor who plays the lead female role of Lisbeth Salander) raises her arms over her head and…

… CRIKEY MOSES! Talk about needing to give the lady gardens a bit of a tidy up. Jeez.

Anyway, far be it for me to hijack your blog with such observations.

You should read the Millenium trilogy Nikki. I think you would enjoy those books. They are VERY “Scandanavian” – IF you get my drift. A lot of jumping in and out of “situations.”

    Hi Nikki,

Thought I’d better drop by as it has been awhile since my last visit. Don’t want any curses coming my way. Love the image, really important to brand yourself these days. The type that does not hurt I mean.
I have been busy working with Brad Gosse in creating WriteSwap which is a content marketplace, and I kind of forgot just how much fun blog hopping is. It is amazing when you look back and see just how far some people have developed.

One day the world will be all purple I fear.

    Hey Andy,

That made me laugh – the fear of being cursed by the PMW brought you back here! And yes, branding (image-wise) is good – though I imagine the other sort to be very painful.

Oooh a purple world – yep, then you’ll know the tea-obsessed PMW has taken over! It won’t be long…

Thanks for popping over Andy, good to see you.

Wow, what a confession from theGazzMan he shaves his armpits, poor lamb.

I love caricatures as a means of branding. Well known personalities inevitably get immortalised in cartoons. By creating your won you jump the queue by not waiting for someone else to do this for you.

Will your ‘character’ get involved in various exploits like ‘The Perils of Pauline’?

Well done for starting to write again.

    Best,

    Stephen

  1. […] On a totally separate note, I need to confess to an addiction to Vistaprint.  For those that don’t know what it is, it’s an online stationery service whereby you can get all sorts of stationery personalised – so as I now have my witch, I also now have a shedload of PMW logo stationery.  My brother isn’t impressed as he keeps having to deal with the delivery people that turn up with yet more stuff for me…so I feel now I should confess to yet another addiction.  I can’t help it, I like purple shiny things and my witch is purple so that counts!  I’ve even got my own personalised Christmas cards (that’s as prepared for Christmas as I’m getting), all complete with my PMW logo.
